Downsizing & Flipping
It’s getting that time, I have been looking for a better place to lay my head, and the options are looking up. I like the idea of retiring in the southlands (it’s warmer down there). But, there’s a lot to think about.
Among the issues crowding my mind these days are Real Estate Values. If I put my house on the market, I’ll be needing to shine it up, spiff up the wear and tear it’s absorbed over the years and make it look new again. Recently, I read an article at Design Home talking about Staging your Home for Market.

As an investor, Home Flippers are selling and marketing their homes using the same concepts for higher profit margins. If you’re looking for a side market to invest in, how about Flipping homes? Simply buy a home in need of minor cosmetic appeal, spit shine it, show it with some upscale furniture you rent, and you’ve got profits winging their way to your bank account on a monthly basis. Who can beat that?
